What does Research Use Only mean?

Products marked Research Use Only are offered for legitimate laboratory, analytical, educational, or non-clinical research and are not intended for human or veterinary administration or therapeutic use.

Do all products require a research-use attestation?

The storefront uses a purchasing qualification gate because the catalog may include RUO materials. Ordinary general laboratory supplies remain subject to their normal product-specific instructions and restrictions.

Where can I find a COA?

When a product has batch-specific analytical documentation, use the batch or lot identifier on its label to match it to the applicable COA in the COA Library or product documentation.

Can I buy RUO products for personal use?

No. RUO materials are not offered for personal administration, self-experimentation, human use, veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, or other therapeutic purposes.

Can an order be declined?

Yes. Orders may be declined or canceled when the stated use is inconsistent with product restrictions, when destination or shipping requirements cannot be met, or when other order-verification requirements are not satisfied.
